Prof. Graham Miller holds a chair in Sustainability in Business and is head of the UK’s number one School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at the University of Surrey. The University of Surrey has been providing education and research in tourism and hospitality for nearly 50 years.
Graham’s main research interest is in the forces that enable and prevent the drive towards a more sustainable tourism industry, publishing the first book to address the monitoring of sustainable tourism in 2005. Graham recently designed the European Tourism Indicator System for the European Commission and has also conducted extensive research for the European Commission on the market for accessible tourism across Europe. Graham is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council for the Future of Travel and Tourism.
